Our commitment

Moreno Insurance Agency is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including clients who browse with a keyboard only, with a screen reader, with screen magnification, with speech input, or with reduced motion enabled. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as something added afterwards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. This site is built and tested to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we believe it conforms fully at that level. Conformance is re-checked whenever the site changes.

How this site is tested

Every page is checked in three ways before it goes out:

  • An automated audit runs the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rule sets across every page, at phone and desktop widths, and again with reduced motion enabled.
  • Every dialog and menu is opened and checked in that state, because problems hide in states a scan of a static page never reaches.
  • Text and background color pairs are measured rather than assumed, and every page is walked from the keyboard alone.

What that means in practice

  • Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
  • A skip link at the top of every page jumps straight to the main content.
  • Text can be zoomed to 200% without losing content or function.
  • Every image carries a text alternative, or is hidden from screen readers when it is purely decorative.
  • Every form field has a label that stays visible, and errors are described in words rather than by color alone.
  • Text and background colors meet AA contrast on every page.
  • Motion and animation respect your device's reduced-motion setting, and anything that moves on its own pauses when you hover or focus it.
  • Pages are structured with real headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can jump straight to the part you want.

Known limitations

Two things on this site are outside our direct control, and we want to be straightforward about them:

  • Reviews shown on this site are quoted from Google. We control how they are presented here, but not the wording of the review itself.
  • Links marked as opening on another company's site, such as a carrier or a review platform, lead to pages we do not build or control.

If either of these creates a barrier for you, contact us and we will give you the same information another way.

Tell us when something does not work

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to hear about it, and we will give you the information or complete the task with you by phone in the meantime.

Please tell us the page you were on and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days, and we will tell you what we are doing about it and when it will be fixed.

Formal complaints

If our reply does not resolve the problem, you may raise it with the U.S. Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act at civilrights.justice.gov.
